is anyone else wondering where summer went? seriously, how is it late august already? it feels like all the events that transpired this summer could have been an entire year's worth of happenings. you, too?

as we move into our final days of summer and prepare for september, i hope you are able to take a few moments to bask in being. if you're local, there is a meditation workshop this saturday and i'm hosting an au revoir summer TranquiliT sale on sunday (see attached). stroll through a wooded park. visit an art gallery. hit the beach. go for a sunset hike. take an early morning bike ride. sleep in. star gaze. reflect on summer highlights. plan for fall. bask in being authentically you. canoodle with your beloved. picnic in the park.

as we begin to say "au revoir" to summer, i'm excited to say "bonjour" to fall: start graduate school. 10-year birthday bash for tranquil space. tranquil space annual team retreat. release of "tranquility to go" yoga CD. showcase TranquiliT at green festival. home to oklahoma. teach in montreal. 3rd annual tranquil space foundation gala. fall foliage retreat. ooh la la: 10 days in paris! release of TranquiliT fall collection. run army 10-miler.

in the interim, i'm basking (sans glow) in two intense injuries - my first in 13 years of practicing (and 10 years of teaching) yoga. boo. i know there is an important lesson with these injuries and i'm (kinda) listening. took five of the ten recommended days off of yoga but it's so ingrained in moi that it breaks my heart to slow my practice down. physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, and splints aren't quite doing it. double boo. hoping to be on the mend soon as i'm not a very patient patient. i've had a month off of donning my pink boxing gloves and am excited to return to the ring tomorrow with thumb splint in tow.
